New Life Church has partnered with Summer in the USA (SUSA) since 2018 to reach the unreached people of the Basque Country. SUSA connects American families with Basque teenagers, offering them the opportunity to experience the gospel in a Christian home—possibly yours! Each July, host families welcome a Basque teen for a month, creating a unique “mission trip at home” alongside other New Life families. It’s a meaningful and rewarding experience, and all it takes is an open heart and home.
If you're interested in hosting in July 2025, please contact Josh and Elaine Hochstettler or Paul and Beryl Metko for more details. We are looking for two more families to host! The deadline to sign up to host is March 31.
Special note for families with teenagers: Hosting another teen can bring unique challenges, but it’s also one of the most rewarding experiences. If you have questions, reach out to Josh!
New Life Youth will be going to Rockaway Beach for the weekend. Please contact David Valencia, dvalencia@newlifenw.com, for more information.

New Life Church partners with LoveINC to serve those in need in our community. Recently, we had the opportunity to help a woman move into her new home. A team of volunteers from New Life West Linn, along with a donated vehicle and trailer, moved her belongings in just a few hours. We continued to show love to her by preparing meals for her and her young son and extending neighborly friendship.
Now, LoveINC needs our help restocking their Care Pantry. They’ve asked churches for the following supplies: hand soap, window cleaner, bleach, toilet bowl cleaner, Bibles, feminine products (pads, tampons, panty liners), Q-tips, hair spray, and body wash.
Please bring your donations to church anytime through April 19, and place them in the basket in the lobby. Thank you, New Life Church, for extending the love of Christ to our neighbors!
If you have questions, please contact Dianne Schumann, our LoveINC Liaison.

We have been reading 2 Chronicles in March, and we will be reading Daniel in April. Come to 1st Thursday to receive a personal reading plan and Side by Side Bible reading questions to use with a friend throughout the month. Reading plans can also be found online and in the church lobby.
