This is your last good weather weekend to be outside in your neighborhood. How will you use it? Make up an excuse to visit with a neighbor.

The Kingdom Initiative started because planting a church is a lifestyle choice. We want everyone to be part of the action of church planting. We want the whole church to act like church planters.

Right now, those who are part of the church plant are actively inviting people to join life groups.

So, here is the October Kingdom Initiative Challenge for Life Groups.

The church will buy dinner for any group that scores 20 points in the month of October. You receive 1 point for inviting someone from church (who is not already in life group) and 2 points for inviting someone who is outside the church. 

Any legitimate, clear, good-faith invitation will count. Keep track of your points in your life group meetings. Report to Pastor Aeric after the first of November.

Your neighbors will probably be VERY open to reading the Bible with you. Invite them. Start one-on-one or a small group Bible study.

Pray before your next neighborhood walk that God will lead you to one person whom you can engage in conversation … then take your walk!
