Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. — Proverbs 13:20
The Bible presents the wise life as the happy or blessed life.
In January 2025, New Life Church will begin a study of the book of Proverbs. We are planning a more immersive experience for this series.
If you want to be wise, God invites you to ask him for wisdom: If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. (James 1:5 ESV) This prompted us to incorporate prayer into our pursuit of wisdom.
Proverbs 2:1 invites us to treasure God’s words and commands as the way we acquire wisdom. This prompted us to include a Bible reading program in Proverbs. With 31 chapters, it is perfect for reading one chapter a day and completing it each month.
From January 1 through April 13, we will send a special encouragement by email or text. Each day will be an invitation to love wisdom, insights into God’s word, and/or prayer reminders.
This could be a great activity for your family. I hope you will join us and walk with the wise. Please sign up below.
