Section 2: Purpose

The Church exists to exalt and enjoy God and make His name known among all people (Psalm 67; Psalm 113:1-5).  We carry out this purpose by assisting each member in fulfilling the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).

The Church will also license and ordain men to the ministry of the Gospel, will share the good news of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible in our community, will educate and assist members in developing toward full Christian maturity and train them for effective ministry, will promote personal spiritual growth and discipleship through Bible teaching, and will support and maintain missionary activities throughout the world.

The Church is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the corresponding provision of any future United States Revenue Law), including but not limited to, for such purposes: the establishing and maintaining of religious worship, building facilities, and maintaining and operating Churches.
