	Treasure Land Nursery The Treasure Land Nursery exists so that parents have the opportunity to learn what it means to treasure God by attending church or Sunday School. The Nursery at our Riverfalls campus welcomes children under 3 years of age. (Treasure Land classes are held for 3 to 4 1/2 year olds.) The Nursery at our Robinwood campus welcomes children under 4 years of age.  We consider it a joy to care for the children each week. STAFFING The Nursery is staffed by parents and volunteers who regularly attend New Life Church. Staff members are screened through an initial application process and an annual application update. As with all areas of youth ministry, Nursery volunteers must read and agree to uphold church policies for child safety. ACTIVITIES The Nursery is stocked with age-appropriate toys and furnishings suitable for babies and toddlers. The toddlers (over 18 mos.) enjoy free play and snack times and craft, singing and games as directed by staff. HEALTH In order to maintain a healthy nursery, we require that children who are ill or have been ill within the past 24 hours remain with their parents in church. A box of quiet toys is available for check-out from the nursery for this purpose, if desired. Qualifying illnesses include: fever, excessive (or colored) runny nose, rash, cough, flu, diarrhea, or any other communicable disease. CHECK-IN and OUT For safety reasons, each child is checked in and may only be released to the parent or guardian with the matching security tag.
